GBOGBOADE AKINDELE, FCA, FCIPS Chartered
Prior to joining DPS, Gbogboade Akindele was the immediate past Regional Head, Supply
Chain Management, Africa, Middle East and Pakistan at Standard Chartered Bank with sole
responsibility for management oversight, cost savings and accountability of all the supply
chain management agenda within the expanded region.
He is a Qualified Procurement Specialist and has experience in Supply Market Insight,
Procurement Outsourcing, Management and Corporate Finance, Inventory Management,
and Control. He is also a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria and
the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) which is the biggest procurement
institute in the world.
His working career which spans over 25 year has seen him hold several senior management
positions within varied industries namely, Audit, Banking, Telecoms and Procurement. He
has good leadership and problem solving abilities that facilitate effective teamwork and
good operations management.
He is also an Alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School and International Academy
of Project Management.
Gbogboade is a strong advocate and believer in the ability to use ethical procurement
procedures to change the narratives and values of an organisation leading to cost savings.
He was also a congress member representing Africa at the Chartered Institute of
Procurement and Supply (2014 – 2017).
Mr. Solabomi Adedeji has over 20 years’ experience in Operations management, Sales,
Business process excellence, Strategic HRM, Business readiness & Project management
across industries covering Manufacturing, Telecoms, Oil & Gas, Logistics and Investment
He is a tested, trusted and seasoned professional and has successfully supported and
delivered startup business project delivery and operations across West Africa and Nigeria.
Solabomi previously held senior Quality Assurance, Strategic HRM and Project delivery roles
in Globacom; a leading mobile network operator with operations across West Africa. He is
also a Director in Platform Capital Investment partners.
He graduated with a BSc. Economics from the Ogun State University, MBA from Lagos State
and Certified member of Institutes such as Business Process Management Professional –
Canada, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Chartered Institute of Human
Capital Development of Nigeria, member Project Management Institute and Fellow Institute
of Management Consultants of Nigeria
AOL as he is fondly called is an accomplished Business Analyst and professional with almost
20 yrs. experience in Banking and Finance.
Prior to his recent appointment, He was at one time the pioneer Chief Operating Officer at
STI Leasing Limited (a subsidiary of Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc.). He has also worked with
several other leading financial institutions namely Mainstreet Bank Limited (formerly
Afribank Plc), First City Monument Bank Plc, United Bank for Africa Plc and Metropolitan
Bank Limited in various capacities.
An Alumnus of the University of Lagos, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Chemistry (1992) and later a Master of Science Degree in Economics. He also
possesses a second Master’s of Science Degree in Business Analysis and Finance from
University of Leicester, UK. He is also certified Prince2 Professional Project Manager and has
attended several courses both internal and external aimed at developing his innate

Oladotun Ajayi is result-driven supply chain professional with expertise in strategic sourcing,
inventory management and supplier relationship management, development and risk
mitigation. He has comprehensive knowledge and experience in spend analysis,
management and reduction, contract interpretation, negotiation and execution.
He also holds a Master degree in International Business & Economics from Glasgow
Caledonian University, Scotland, UK. He was Principal Manager, Supply Chain and Spend
Management (Strategic Procurement) at Pacific Energy Development Company Limited.
His Achievements include the CSCP designation by the American Production and Inventory
Control Society, United States and the Barkat Alam prize for best graduating student by the
department of international business and economics, Glasgow Caledonian University,
Glasgow, United Kingdom.
BABAJIDE SHOBOWALE ACIB, CPIN
Head, Forensic Audit and Cost Control
An accomplished leader and professional that is highly focused, result oriented with a
passion for excellence. Babajide Shobowale has vast experience and competence in Internal
audit (specializing in forensic and risk based auditing) as well as cost management, process
optimization, strategic planning, finance, quality assurance, policy improvement, inventory
management, performance review and staff development.
He is a Chartered Banker with MBA Financial Management from the Lagos State University.
He is resourceful, creative, enjoys challenges and able to interpret complex assignments to
the simplest possible formats, develop and integrate enhancements to achieve business
goals and objectives.
BOLA AFOLABI, PhD, FCIPS, FCArb
He held senior management positions while at NNPC, including Group General Manager,
LNG Investment overseeing LNG ventures (NLNG, Brass, OKLNG etc.). Hitherto, he also
enjoyed a successful career at Shell, spanning over two decades in Africa, Europe, America
and retired as Senior Principal Consultant, Supply Chain.
He was established Supply Chain practice in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation
(NNPC) and retired meritoriously in December 2017 as Group General Manager, Research
and Development (CEO of the NNPC Hydrocarbon Science and Technology Research Centre).
In 2009/2010 he became the first non-European President of CIPS. He is the President/ CEO
of an Oil and Gas consultancy in Supply Chain Management.
ARINZE MADUKA ODUAH, FCIPS
Arize Odua is Supply Chain Management professional with over 25 years international
experience of which the greater part was at Shell. He retired in June 2018 to enable him
focus on consulting.
At Shell, he birthed the Contractor Management Guide and managed certification in
Contract Management from shop-floor to Director Level. He co-facilitates Open Enrolment
Training Programmes in Supply Chain Management at the Lagos Business School.
A negotiator trained at both Harvard and Wharton, and in business leadership at IMD.
